Join VICI Learning!
Are you passionate about education and interested in helping students become more confident, capable, and independent learners?
VICI Learning is looking for reliable and knowledgeable tutors who can support high school students in Math and Science while also helping them strengthen their study habits, organization, motivation, and overall approach to learning.
We believe every student learns differently. Strong tutoring is not only about explaining the correct answer. It is about understanding how the student thinks, identifying where they are struggling, and adjusting the lesson so the material becomes easier to understand.
“If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.” - Ignacio Estrada
Subjects We Are Prioritizing
● Grades 9-12 Mathematics
● Pre-Calculus
● Calculus
● Chemistry
● Physics
● General Science
Experience supporting Biology, English, Social Studies, or additional elementary and secondary subjects is also an asset. Applicants should clearly identify the subjects and grade levels they are comfortable teaching. We encourage everyone who is interested to apply.
What You Will Do
As a tutor and academic coach, you will:
1. Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and productive tutoring sessions.
2. Explain difficult concepts in ways that match each student’s learning style and current ability.
3. Help students complete schoolwork, prepare for tests, and strengthen their understanding of course material.
4. Build student confidence, motivation, organization, and independent learning skills.
5. Adjust your approach when a student does not understand the first explanation.
6. Track student progress and complete clear session summaries.
7. Communicate professionally with students, families, administration, and other tutors.
8. Follow VICI Learning procedures, scheduling expectations, and student support plans.
