Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver Class 1 &/or 3 to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role requires a professional with experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work with a reputable company dedicated to operational excellence and safety compliance.

Duties

Safely operate Class 1 or Class 3 trucks for freight transportation across various routes.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle logs.
Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when required, including forklifts and other machinery.
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to ensure vehicle functionality.
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure the secure loading of freight to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class 1 or Class 3 with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is a plus.
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and equipment.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to commercial vehicle operation.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance logs.
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate equipment, and perform manual tasks as required.
Commitment to safety standards, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
