Account Manager

Location: Montreal, QC

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 (depending on experience)

We are currently supporting a leading food ingredients and distribution company in hiring an Account Manager. This role is focused on managing and growing relationships with food manufacturers, processors, distributors, and industrial customers across an assigned territory.

What Will You Do?

Manage and grow relationships with existing food manufacturing and industrial accounts
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
Promote a broad portfolio of ingredient solutions, including nuts, seeds, dried fruits, specialty ingredients, and value-added food products
Work closely with customers to understand their sourcing, production, and supply chain requirements
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities
Conduct client visits, presentations, and product discussions
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and pipeline activity within CRM systems
Collaborate with internal procurement, operations, and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer support
Monitor market trends, commodity fluctuations, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth

What Do You Bring?

Post-secondary education in Business, Food Science, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Bilingual (FR/EN) considered an asset
Experience in B2B sales, account management, food ingredients, food manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sales environments
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Ability to prospect, develop new business, and manage existing accounts
Comfortable working with pricing, margins, and supply chain considerations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
