Are you interested in joining a team of psychologists and professionals who aim to see success with every client they assess? A team that values continued learning, integrity, and creating a comfortable, caring environment for staff and clients? If you answered yes, the psychologist position at the ADD Centre may be the right fit for you.

At the ADD CENTRE and Biofeedback Institute of Toronto, we provide cutting-edge assessment and treatment programs, including neurofeedback, biofeedback, 19-channel brain mapping, LORETA neurofeedback, transcranial direct stimulation, ILS integrated listening, Audiovisual Entrainment, and Cogmed.

Our psychologists, psychotherapists, and staff members learn to administer the above modalities through a comprehensive training program. We also mentor psychologists who want to become certified with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).

The ADD Centre has been in practice and has successfully treated clients using the above methods for over 30 years. We are looking for a psychologist to join our growing practice part-time.

We can provide:

Admin support for bookings

Requirements:

Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (competency in Clinical or School Psychology preferred)
Experience conducting psychoeducational/psychological assessments
Strict adherence to the College of Psychologists of Ontario’s Code of Conduct
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Executive Director, Dr. Lynda Thompson, PhD, C. Psych., BCN is in an expert in the field of neurofeedback. She is a co-author of The A.D.D. Book and the Neurofeedback Book, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Biofeedback Federation of Europe in 2010, the Distinguished Scientist Award in 2016 from the Association for Applied Psychophysiology Biofeedback (AAPB), and became an Honorary Fellow of the AAPB for a lifetime of contributions to the field of neurofeedback in 2019. Dr. Lynda Thompson is certified with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) and teaches the didactic training course for certification in the field.

The Clinical Director, Andrea Reid-Chung, M.A, C. Psych., Assoc., BCN (Board Certified in Neurofeedback) is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is the Clinical Director at the ADD Centre and Biofeedback Institute of Toronto. Ms. Reid-Chung has been working with Dr. Thompson and The ADD Centre since 2003 and conducts assessments, trains staff and creates specialized training programs using neurofeedback, biofeedback and LORETA neurofeedback. Ms. Reid-Chung was the first author on a paper investigating the effects of heart rate variability on sensorimotor rhythm and a second paper titled “Heart Rate Variability and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): Clinical Applications. In addition, she has assisted in the publication of 9 other published works in the field of neuro/biofeedback.
