Alpha Adroit is a non-union provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Services providing a full range of NDT services across Canada and internationally. Alpha Adroit is also engaged in developing new and specialist NDT technologies. In addition, we are involved in producing propriety specialist NDT software and hardware and use state-of-the-art commercially available software, equipment, and practices per ASTM, ASME, BSI, ACI, DIN, Euro Code, and ISO standards. Finally, we provide certified NDT technician testing and NDT engineering services for complex and highly challenging problems. We continually improve our staff training with our latest technologies to provide our clients with the highest quality inspection services. We are a non-union company, which allows us to be highly competitive with flexible pricing. Our high-quality professional reports are tailored to suit each of our client’s requirements. A fast report turnaround is our top priority upon the completion of every project.

This position will include the responsibilities of a Certified NDT (Non-destructive testing) Technician, Technologist, or Engineer for the type of services undertaken by Alpha Adroit . More information on the kind of services we provide is available at Alpha Adroit's NDT Services.

This position will require traveling across Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and other locations. Having a Class 5 driver's license is a MUST, and the candidate may be required to drive company vehicles.

Technical Skills:

- having a degree in engineering, technologist, or related field- preferably from a Canadian University
- certified for Ultrasonic NDT testing (certified Level II CGSB UT)
- certified for Radiographic Testing (certified Level II CGSB RT)
- certified for Level II CGSB CAN/CGSB-48.9712-2014, certification of NDT personnel: Liquid Penetrant Inspection method
- experience in the type of NDT testing conducted by Alpha Adroit is considered an asset
- having worked as Certified NDT (Non-destructive testing) Engineer or Technologist is considered an asset
- previous work experience in testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt is regarded as an asset
- previous work experience in construction QA/QC is viewed as an asset

The ideal candidate would also have the following requirements:

- The successful candidate will be punctual and possess good character and attitude- can get along with all kinds of personalities.
- The successful candidate will be a fluent English Speaker, as well as, a competent technical English writer.

Other Requirements:

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Perform other related duties as required, these duties may not be under the category of NDT Engineer or technologist
- Minute taking and note taking skills
- Time management skills
- Conflict resolution skills and ability to handle difficult communications, including also client satisfaction communications, in a professional manner
