Old Orchard Medical Clinic is an established, physician-led community medical clinic that has proudly served Burnaby since 1993. We are looking for Family Physicians who want to build a rewarding, sustainable practice in a collaborative environment with the flexibility to practise their way.

Whether you are an experienced physician, a recent graduate, relocating within Canada, or an eligible internationally trained Family Physician or General Practitioner, we would be pleased to speak with you.

Responsibilities

As a Family Physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages while practising evidence-based medicine in a professional setting.

Responsibilities include:

Providing comprehensive family medicine across all age groups
Performing medical assessments, examinations and preventive care
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
Developing individualized treatment plans
Prescribing medications and monitoring patient outcomes
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records using TELUS Health Med Access
Providing health promotion, preventive care and patient education
Collaborating with specialists and allied healthcare professionals
Participating in ongoing professional development
