Join Our Team

We are looking for a motivated team member who will work collaboratively within an integrated service delivery team to make a meaningful impact for jobseekers across the Edmonton Manning and Metro Edmonton areas.

If you are a relationship builder who enjoys networking, creating opportunities, connecting people with meaningful work, and working collaboratively with employers and community partners, you may be the perfect fit.

As a Job Developer, you will serve as the primary link between jobseekers and employers, strengthening employment outcomes for jobseekers who require more intensive support throughout the job search and placement process. This role provides hands-on support by connecting jobseekers to employment opportunities and facilitating successful workplace integration.

We believe that skills can be taught, but attitude cannot. The most important qualification is a willingness to learn, excitement to help others, and the desire to make this role your own.

What You'll Do

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to identify employment opportunities for participants.

· Conduct employer outreach and build partnerships that support sustainable employment outcomes.

· Match participants with suitable employment opportunities based on their skills, interests, goals, and employer needs.

· Work closely with Career and Employment Advisors and Service Navigators to coordinate participant referrals and employment plans.

· Prepare participants for employment through individualized coaching, interview preparation, workplace expectations, and job search support.

· Facilitate participant introductions and referrals to employers.

· Support employers throughout the recruitment and hiring process.

· Provide post-placement follow-up and retention support to both participants and employers to promote long-term employment success.

· Identify and address workplace challenges by collaborating with participants and employers to develop appropriate solutions.

· Maintain accurate documentation of employer contacts, participant progress, placements, and follow-up activities using case management systems.

· Collaborate with internal staff and community partners to ensure coordinated, high-quality service delivery.

· Adhere to organizational policies related to confidentiality, privacy, and data integrity.

· Provide additional program supports as required.

Note: This is an in-person role. Regular community engagement, employer outreach, and local travel are required.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and some PowerPoint), Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.

· Experienced in employment services, recruitment, workforce development, sales, business development, human resources, or a related field.

· Familiar with local labour market trends and employer needs (considered an asset).

· Experienced using CRM or case management systems (considered an asset).

Working Conditions / Additional Requirements

· In-person position with regular employer visits, community engagement, and outreach.

· Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events, employer meetings, or deadlines.

· Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.

· Valid Class 5 driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and a minimum of $2 million third-party liability automobile insurance while using a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
