Kasa Moto is a two-story contemporary Japanese restaurant and lounge that opened in the heart of Yorkville in the Spring of 2015. With a sprawling rooftop terrace, elevated design, and lush indoor topiary, Kasa Moto guests will enjoy a versatile dining experience that evolves from day to night.

What you will find at Kasa Moto is passion without pretense; a unique group that loves coming to work every day, shouts good morning, rolls up their sleeves and works together to create innovative techniques to redefine hospitality.

What You’ll Do

Welcome guests to the property
Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list as needed
Manage reservations
Escort guests to assigned dining or bar area
Provide menus for guests and notify party of Server’s name
Greet customers upon their departure
Coordinate with servers about available seating options
Maintain a clean reception area
Cater to guests who require extra attention
Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
Assist Servers as needed

What You’ll Need

Proven experience as a host or server in a luxury or fast-paced environment
Experience managing reservations
Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Patience and customer-oriented approach
Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends
