The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. St. Mary’s School is a Catholic independent elementary school in Chilliwack, BC, serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 7. JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Mary’s School is seeking a faith-filled and dedicated Grade 2 teacher for a short-term maternity leave position from September 1 to December 18. As Grade 2 is a sacramental year, a strong Catholic background and a commitment to supporting students in their faith formation are essential. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who is able to create a warm, engaging, and structured classroom environment, work collaboratively with staff and families, and participate fully in the Catholic life of the school. A willingness to support extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community is also valued. All applicants must meet CISVA hiring requirements and successfully complete the CISVA screening process.
