Forklift Operator / Material Handler – Edmonton, AB

Join a stable, growing team in a clean, well-maintained facility!

We're hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and yard operations. This role involves operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts and a stand-up reach truck to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts (5,000–8,000 lbs) and stand-up reach trucks
Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and customer vehicles
Move, stage, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse
Complete shipping/receiving tasks, including BOL and packing slip verification
Pick orders using pick tickets and RF scanners
Assist with general labour and material handling duties
Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Provide professional customer service to drivers and customers

Requirements

6+ months of recent counterbalance forklift experience
Valid forklift certification (Class 1, 4, or 5)
Yard material handling experience
Experience with shipping, receiving, and RF scanners
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong safety mindset, reliability, and attendance record
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round

Asset Qualifications

Stand-up reach truck experience
Order picking and inventory experience
Industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
