Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Execute recipes and cooking techniques according to Stock Yard Kitchen standards.
Understand timing and execution of each dish to deliver a consistent guest experience.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, seasonal features, and preparation procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food storage throughout the kitchen.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet our standards.
Assist with inventory management, stocking, and organization.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver timely, high-quality service.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Support the Kitchen Manager and Supervisors with prep, service, and closing duties as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to food safety, consistency, and delivering a great guest experience.
A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow with the team.
