Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and technically experienced Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The successful candidate will support project planning, execution, documentation, and communication across various mechanical construction projects.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications.
A minimum of three years of technical experience in the mechanical or construction industry is required. Candidates must also possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable reviewing technical drawings, coordinating field activities, and communicating project requirements to multiple stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Coordinate project activities, including procurement, material deliveries, logistics, subcontractors, and resource allocation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Use construction management software such as Procore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or similar platforms to track project progress and manage documentation.
- Prepare and update project estimates using appropriate construction estimating methods.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and field teams to review technical documents and resolve project-related issues.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables and communicate updates or potential delays to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Support project managers in maintaining compliance with safety requirements, quality-control procedures, and project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules, documentation, shop drawings, and deliverables.
- Prepare meeting notes, reports, progress updates, and other project-related correspondence.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, current, and easily accessible for team review.
- Identify technical or scheduling concerns and promptly communicate them to the project management team.
- Assist with change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documents, and other project administration requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years of technical and communicative experience in the mechanical or construction industry is required.
- Mechanical or construction industry experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, field operations, and project coordination.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information to project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, procurement, and document-control processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated project coordination or project management experience within the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office and field teams.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
