VERTICAL BORING MILL WITH TURNING & MILLING - (Large Machining)

Looking for a “Vertical Boring Mill” Machinist with turning with milling experience?

We want to interview you!

Barrie Welding & Machine is looking for 2 positions.

1 for our regular shift days and the other for steady Nights 6 wk days 2 wk NS.

OUR SERVICES / ABOUT US

MACHINING: We have a full spectrum of conventional and CNC machines that can be applied to both large and small precision machining projects

WELDING AND FABRICATION: With a fully equipped CWB and TSSA certified fabrication/weld shop with years of experience in most industries

AUTOMATION: We have a custom automated solutions engineered to suit your specific needs. Full support through all project phases from design through to installation.

PRESS TECHNOLOGIES: We have a complete stamping press repair and rebuilds, including but not limited to hydraulic systems, electrical control systems, preventative maintenance, and on-site assessment

POWER GENERATION SERVICES: We have experience with most generation types including nuclear, hydro, wind, and solar. Services include manufacture of components, repairs to existing equipment, and provision of automated manufacturing/processing equipment

Operate with minimal supervision as we allow the machinist to be in the decision making.

You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience on Vertical or Horizontal Boring mill

You are capable of performing programming and set up for all types of complex parts

You will be Inspecting dimensions to ensure the part is within tolerances

You have the ability to safely handle heavy parts with overhead cranes

Experience working with live tooling is beneficial

Your Quality and Attention to detail are the utmost importance!

You are capable of working within a team and on your own

You are a self-starter and you can work independently safely

We are offering a Full-time, Permanent Position

$29 - $ 43.95 Per Hr based on your experience
