Job Overview

This is a full-time opportunity based at our Edmonton Or Calgary Distribution Center.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Sales Professionals to support sales growth, deliver accurate quotations, and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties

Prepare detailed quotes and estimates for commercial doors, frames, hardware, and building specialties
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents for accurate estimating
Enter orders, track progress, and manage open orders through all stages of fulfillment
Maintain consistent communication with customers as quotes and orders advance
Provide service and support to existing company accounts
Balance walk-in, phone, and email customer inquiries while delivering exceptional service
Respond to on-site quote requests as needed
Assist with maintaining the sales showroom
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer expectations are met
Support internal departments through clear communication and coordination

Requirements

Strong estimating and/or sales skills with a focus on accuracy, customer service, and results
Experience with building or construction materials, preferably commercial doors and hardware
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and hardware specifications
General knowledge of building codes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
Proficient computer skills
Professional demeanor with an outgoing, customer-centered approach
Commitment to safety for yourself and your colleagues
Driven to exceed goals and contribute to team success

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
