Full job description

TPI Machine Ltd is a ISO 9001 CNC Production Machine Shop located in South Edmonton. We are a growing business looking to add to our qualified CNC Programmer/ Operator staff.

Job Description

Permanent full-time CNC Programmer/Operator for day/afternoon shift.

Responsibilities

Program and Set-up CNC machines with a strong emphasis on Mazatrol programming.
Study and interpret drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
Preform first off inspections when required by co-workers.
Communicate with Production, Quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining, production or quality issues
Within the scope of the job requirements, required to adhere to and comply with the Company Quality program and procedures, Company policies and Health and Safety policies/regulations
All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

5+ years experience programming/ operating CNC machines, preferably Mazatrol
Ability to read and understand blue print drawings, and experience using measuring tools
Experience in Wellhead, Completition, Downhole Pumps, Drilling tools an asset
Experience cutting various types of threads (Acme, EUE & API)
Must be a quick learner, and have strong attention to detail
Must be a strong team player, and have great communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
