Responsibilities:
- Lead and or work with crew in daily tasks
- Operate a bucket truck to perform various tasks related to Urban Forestry
- Perform bucket operations to cut down/trim trees, remove debris, and complete other tasks at heights
-Power Line clearing and utility work
- Inspect and maintain the bucket truck to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Processing daily work orders via Jobber App
- Vehicle and equipment daily inspections
-Emergency response and Disaster clean up - On the road work
-Winter readiness with snow removal experience an asset
Requirements:
- Valid DZ License required or equivalent
- Previous experience operating a bucket truck or similar equipment
- Knowledge of Tree Maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to rig equipment and safely operate the bucket truck at heights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
-Utility Arborist Certifications
-Aerial Rescue Training and Valid Emergency First Aid
-Fall arrest Training
- Experience in urban forestry an asset
- ISA Ontario Certification
