Platform Administrator

Location: Montreal
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite
Language Requirement: Excellent proficiency in French, both spoken and written

About the Role

ESI Technologies is a Quebec-based IT consulting firm with over 32 years of experience in information technology services.

We support organizations in their digital transformation, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data management, and IT service management initiatives.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Platform Administrator who is eager to contribute to large-scale projects while growing within a team recognized for its expertise and people-first approach.

Your Role

As a Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for:

Managing the deployment and configuration of solutions
Troubleshooting incidents and providing support to teams
Maintaining security configurations and controls
Documenting technical configurations
Ensuring backups and overall system stability

️ Responsibilities

Vault Administration

Administer HashiCorp Vault Enterprise
Manage High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), restorations, and authentication mechanisms
Ensure the performance and security of environments

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Manage Vault using Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions
Maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate processes through scripting (Bash, JSON)

Support & Guidance

Support teams in both on-premises and Azure environments
Participate in migration projects
Advise teams on secret management best practices

✅ Profile Sought

Experience with Linux (CLI)
Strong knowledge of Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions
Expertise with HashiCorp Vault Enterprise
Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation
Experience with Microsoft Azure is considered an asset
