We are one of the most respected automotive dealer groups in Western Canada and are seeking an exceptional Service Manager to lead the team at one of our large-volume Domestic dealerships in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

What You'll Be Responsible For
As our Service Manager, you'll lead every aspect of the service operation while creating an environment where employees thrive and customers become lifelong advocates.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatch, Warranty, and Support Staff.
- Driving customer retention and delivering a Best-in-Class customer experience.
- Achieving departmental sales, gross profit, and operating objectives.
- Monitoring and improving technician productivity, proficiency, and efficiency.
- Coaching advisors to maximize customer satisfaction, repair order quality, and service sales.
- Managing daily shop workflow and technician dispatch.
- Reviewing financial statements, KPIs, and operational reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Driving CSI, ESRI, online reputation, and customer retention initiatives.
- Managing warranty administration and ensuring OEM compliance.
- Working closely with the Parts Department to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Partnering with the Sales Department to ensure seamless internal repairs, reconditioning, and Certified Pre-Owned processes.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing future leaders.
- Creating a culture built on accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage a department—but leads one.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager experience in a dealership environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- A proven track record of improving profitability and operational performance.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and departmental reporting.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- The ability to lead change, improve processes, and inspire others.
- Experience with dealership management systems (PBS, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is considered an asset.
- OEM dealership experience is preferred.
