Group Summary:

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

Immediate, open position

- $93,330 - $103,700 annual compensation

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality or related field preferred
5–8+ years automotive quality systems experience (Tier 1 preferred)
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and OEM requirements
Experience with core tools and problem-solving methods

Certifications (Preferred)

IATF 16949 Lead Auditor
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Systems thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage multiple OEM requirements

MAIN DUTIES:

Lead QMS aligned with IATF 16949 and Magna Quality Standards
Ensure compliance with OEM systems (GM BIQS, Stellantis CQS, Honda, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla requirements)
Interface with customers on Quality Expectations and customer requirements
Train team members on G-Car process
Manage internal audit program and audit readiness
Lead corrective actions and systemic improvements (5-Why, 8D, Red X)
Maintain documentation and support management review
Track KPIs and report system performance
Provide cross-functional coaching and support
Perform other duties as required
