Position Overview
Traq Health Solutions is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional Psychometrist to join our clinical assessment team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will administer and score standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Neuropsychologist.
This position requires travel to assessment locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Remote scoring, documentation, and administrative work may also be available depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments according to established protocols.
- Accurately score testing materials within required timelines.
- Record detailed behavioural observations during assessment sessions.
- Monitor claimant engagement, comprehension, effort, and response style.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain testing materials before and after assessments.
- Ensure all testing forms, protocols, and documentation are complete and accurate.
- Communicate testing concerns, irregularities, or relevant observations to the supervising clinician.
- Collaborate with psychologists, neuropsychologists, assessors, and administrative staff.
- Assist with assessment preparation, scheduling coordination, score sheets, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain confidential, accurate, and organized clinical records.
- Protect the security and integrity of psychological testing materials.
- Follow all applicable privacy, ethical, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Participate in training and quality-assurance activities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Behavioural Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience administering standardized psychological or neuropsychological assessments is required.
- Strong knowledge of standardized test-administration and scoring procedures.
- Demonstrated accuracy in scoring, documentation, and behavioural observation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while receiving clinical supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians and administrative staff.
- Professional, respectful, and compassionate approach when working with claimants.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive clinical information.
- Availability and ability to travel to assessment locations across the Greater Toronto Area.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a clinical psychology or neuropsychology setting.
- Familiarity with instruments such as the WAIS, WMS, D-KEFS, RBANS, TOMM, PAI, MMPI, or similar assessments.
- Experience with medico-legal, disability, insurance, or independent medical assessment files.
- Familiarity with psychological testing software, electronic health records, or secure documentation systems.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing psychological, cognitive, neurological, or physical impairments.
- Knowledge of professional and ethical standards related to psychological testing.
Work Environment
- In-person assessments at various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
- Remote scoring, documentation, or administrative work may be available.
- Flexible part-time scheduling based on assessment volume and availability.
- Some assessments may require extended hours or occasional evening availability.
