Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your passion for food preparation and food safety will help deliver a consistently excellent experience for our guests. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic food industry setting.

Prep Cook - JJ Bean Coffee Roasters Commissary

This work opportunity might be right if you:

Have completed a Culinary Arts program.or have 6-12 months of food prep experience.
Have experience with sandwich and wrap making.
Enjoy a busy, physically active kitchen environment.
Have a positive, solutions oriented attitude.
Have a continuous improvement mindset.
Have good attention to detail and are a visual learner.
Can communicate effectively in the English language.
Are reliable and punctual.
Love to learn new things and are open to feedback.
Are able to stand for 8 hours a day.
Are able to lift up to 25kg.
Have valid Food Safe Level 1 certification
Have a valid work permit to work in Canada
