Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor to join our fitness team. This role involves designing and delivering engaging training sessions and group fitness classes tailored to client needs. It also involves fostering a motivating environment within the gym that encourages clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles. Bilingual abilities in English and French are desirable to better serve our diverse clientele.

Duties

Develop personalized fitness programs based on clients’ goals, abilities, and health conditions.
Lead group fitness classes such as yoga, aerobics, strength training, or specialized workshops.
Provide instruction on proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Motivate clients during workouts to maximize engagement and results.
Monitor client progress and adjust training plans accordingly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and ongoing support.
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications through continuous professional development.

Skills

Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are a plus.
Proven experience developing and leading group fitness classes.
Personal Training certification from a recognized association.
Group Fitness instruction certificaiton for a recognized organization.
Excellent communication skills to motivate and engage clients effectively.
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Effective time management to balance individual training sessions and group classes efficiently.
Leadership qualities to inspire confidence and foster a positive group atmosphere.
Ability to adapt coaching styles to suit different age groups, fitness levels, and learning styles.
Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity for fitness professionals who are looking to build their clientele, build on experience, gain consistent hours and work within a fitness environment.

Pay: $17.60-$28.60 per hour
