Most builders market homes. At Cantiro, our Marketing team supports communities, homes, multifamily, rental, commercial and investment opportunities through Cantiro Capital across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

This role offers exposure to a broader range of projects, business models and customer experiences than is typically available within a single builder or developer. You will work closely with teams across marketing, sales, development, construction and customer experience while contributing to projects that help shape how people live. As Cantiro continues to expand, this role offers opportunities to grow your responsibilities and experience across multiple business lines and project types.

Successful candidates will gain exposure to areas of marketing and real estate that often require multiple roles to experience elsewhere in the industry. You will regularly collaborate with leaders across sales, development, construction, customer experience and executive teams, gaining exposure to how major real estate projects are planned, launched and grown.

Cantiro is also investing in areas that are redefining the industry, including AI-enabled marketing and business practices and steel frame housing innovation. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will gain experience with projects and technologies that extend beyond traditional real estate marketing.

Our Marketing team works across branding, digital marketing, community launches, product development, events and market research.

Objective:

Reporting to the GM of Marketing & Communications and Senior Marketing Managers, the Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across the Cantiro group of companies.

Working closely with Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams, this role helps deliver campaigns, content, digital marketing initiatives, project marketing programs, events, sales support tools and market research that support business growth and customer experience objectives.

Role and Responsibilities:

Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, signage, events and other channels.
Work with Marketing Managers, Project Managers and Sales teams to coordinate and support assigned communities, products and business initiatives, taking ownership of specific initiatives as experience grows.
Manage and update website content using CMS tools while supporting ongoing website improvements.
Write and edit content for websites, blogs, newsletters, presentations, sales materials and marketing collateral.
Support photo, video and creative asset development for digital and social media use.
Track campaign performance, monitor KPIs and prepare updates for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate marketing projects, schedules, deliverables and approvals.
Conduct client, market and competitor research to support planning and decision-making.
Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners including agencies, freelancers and vendors.
Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and business results.
Support special projects and other marketing initiatives as required.

Education and Experience:

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Commerce or a related field.
2-3 years of marketing experience.
Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, email, events and sales support materials.
Experience with CRM and CMS platforms such as Salesforce and WordPress.
Strong writing and editing experience across a variety of communication channels.
Event coordination experience is considered an asset.
Familiarity with the Edmonton real estate, development or homebuilding industry is considered an asset.
Experience with marketing technology platforms, analytics and digital advertising tools is considered an asset.

Other Skills Required:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
Curious, adaptable and eager to learn new tools, technologies and areas of the business.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Work may occasionally be required after hours or on weekends, sometimes on short notice.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position requires minimum 37.5 hours per week
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Will require occasional travel to show homes, sales centres, communities and project sites.
Our head office is located on 124 Street and 102 Avenue; there are numerous public parking options within close proximity to our office. Cantiro will assist the successful candidate with a list of available lots in the area.
