Hog Receiving Barn Worker (NOC85100)

Freezerco Inc. is currently hiring five (5) Hog Receiving Barn Workers to join our team at 623 Main St. E., Neepawa, MB.

Starting wage: $20.75/hour, with incremental increases up to $22.05/hour based on tenure.

Job duties include:

Receiving and unloading hog deliveries.
Sorting hogs into appropriate receiving pens.
Ensuring humane and safe handling of hogs in our facility.
Completing hog receiving documents to CFIA standards.
Scraping trailers.
Working outdoors and in a barn environment.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Respect for animal welfare, food safety, and workplace safety. Knowledge of animal behavior is an asset.
Capable of working in diverse environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and odors
1 to 7 months of experience working with livestock.
Fit and capable of working in a physically demanding role. Capable of bending, lifting, and crawling
Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience
Capable of repetitive manual tasks
Able to effectively communicate in English
At least 18 years old to meet the minimum age requirement
