QA Analyst

TouchTunes is on the lookout for a QA Analyst with a strong understanding of software quality principles. As a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) Department, you will be closely collaborating with the engineering teams to both create, manage, and perform functional and non-functional tests and validation on a multitude of projects tied to our Mobile App to ensure the success of our software releases.

As a critical member of the Quality Assurance (QA) team, the Analyst will work in collaboration to strategize, create, and execute QA test plans. With the exposure you will have to our multiple environments and development teams, you will also act as a subject matter expert within the QA collective regarding the different platforms and systems you engage with.

What your day-to-day looks like:

Active participation in test planning, defining and improving test strategies related to various software and hardware functionalities within a multidisciplinary team
Test client products rigorously using a variety of methods to expose customer-impacting defects.
Develop and execute tests for the different products you will work on
Maintain test environment to ensure accuracy and reproducibility
Report results and provide recommendations to the Team Lead
Maintain and improve product quality by investigating field escalations
Implement new tools, strategies and methods to continually optimize the testing process
Participate in product release steps, including planning and arranging releases, and internal training

What you bring to the table:

Strong experience with industry standard QA tools, such as JIRA, Postman, Web debugging tools such as Charles, Wireshark or Fiddler, test management tools, and others.
3+ years' experience working with Mobile applications, with strong understanding of Mobile Platforms, and Compatibility to ensure the success of our software releases.
Strong analytical skills to investigate, isolate, and troubleshoot complex issues and determine optimal testing strategy
Experience managing software / hardware tests.
Multi-disciplined on software, such as Mobile (iOS and Android) apps, web-based tools, embedded systems and gateways.
Exposure to environments running large-scale applications and back-end systems.
Experience with Backend/server-side testing - API/Webservices testing knowledge, JSON or XML, a strong plus.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, XCode, Sourcetree, a strong plus.
Strong exposure to integrated systems testing.
Familiarity with databases and MySQL.
Experience with Linux/Unix OS and electronic systems a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively.
Out of the box thinking, ability to test applications with thorough test coverage
Have a strong technical background and ability to learn complex products and testing methodologies quickly as well as strong and detail-oriented troubleshooting skills.

En tant que membre de l'équipe assurance qualité (QA), tu collaboreras étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie pour créer, gérer et effectuer des tests et des validations fonctionnels et non fonctionnels sur une multitude de projets liés à notre application mobile afin d'assurer le succès de nos mis à jours logiciels.

En tant que membre essentiel de l'équipe d'assurance qualité (QA), l'analyste travaillera en collaboration pour élaborer des stratégies, créer et exécuter des plans de test QA. Grâce à l'exposition que tu auras au sein de nos multiples environnements et équipes de développement, tu agiras également en tant qu'expert en la matière de QA en ce qui concerne les différentes plateformes et systèmes que tu cotoieras avec.

Ton quotidien ressemblera à ceci:

Participation active à la planification des tests, à la définition et à l'amélioration des stratégies de test liées à diverses fonctionnalités logicielles et matérielles au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire.
Tester rigoureusement les produits du client en utilisant une variété de méthodes pour exposer les défauts ayant un impact sur le client.
Développer et exécuter des tests pour les différents produits sur lesquels vous travaillerez.
Maintenir l'environnement de test pour assurer la précision et la reproductibilité.
Rapporter les résultats et fournir des recommandations au chef d'équipe
Maintenir et améliorer la qualité des produits en enquêtant sur les escalades sur le terrain.
Mettre en œuvre de nouveaux outils, stratégies et méthodes pour optimiser continuellement le processus de test.
Participer aux étapes de lancement du produit, y compris la planification et l'organisation des lancements, ainsi que la formation interne.

Ce que l’on recherche:

Expérience établie avec les outils d'assurance qualité standard du secteur, tels que JIRA, Postman, les outils de débogage Web tels que Charles, Wireshark ou Fiddler, les outils de gestion des tests, et autres.
Plus de 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des applications mobiles, avec une bonne compréhension des plateformes mobiles et de la compatibilité afin d'assurer le succès des versions de nos logiciels.
Fortes compétences analytiques pour enquêter, isoler et résoudre des problèmes complexes et déterminer la stratégie de test optimale.
Expérience dans la gestion des tests logiciels / matériels.
Multidisciplinarité sur les logiciels, tels que les applications mobiles (iOS et Android), les outils web, les systèmes embarqués et les passerelles.
Exposition à des environnements exécutant des applications à grande échelle et des systèmes back-end.
Expérience des tests back-end/serveur - Connaissance des tests API/Webservices, JSON ou XML, un atout majeur.
Expérience des langages de script tels que Bash, Python, XCode, Sourcetree, un atout majeur.
Forte exposition aux tests de systèmes intégrés.
Familiarité avec les bases de données et MySQL.
Expérience avec le système d'exploitation Linux/Unix et les systèmes électroniques, un plus.
Excellentes compétences en communication, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
