Summary

We are seeking a skilled In-House Mechanic and Lube Technician to join our team in Canada. Based in our local facility, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance to meet our company's mission of timely deliveries.
Responsibilities

Perform delivery service, light to medium duty trucks
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small vans, trucks, and semi-tractors.
Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot effectively.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
Assist with vehicle diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Support the team in vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with the logistics team to minimize vehicle downtime.
Pick up and deliver freight, supporting the field side when primary tasks a caught up.
Warehouse and yard maintenance
Qualifications
Proven dealership or mechanic experience with automotive repairs.
Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
Excellent customer service skills for interacting with team members.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance protocols.
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently.
Prior experience working with delivery or fleet vehicles is a plus.
