We are searching for a Sales Manager to join our Parkland at Home team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Reporting to the Regional Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the business development and drive sales growth for Parkland at Home. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on marketing execution to increase client census and revenue.

About the Opportunity
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve client acquisition, referral, and revenue growth targets.
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate new referral opportunities with hospitals, physicians, nurse practitioners, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, rehabilitation providers, community agencies, and seniors' organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners through regular meetings, presentations, educational sessions, networking events, and ongoing engagement.
- Represent Parkland at Home at community events, conferences, and industry meetings to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
- Respond to prospective client, family, and referral partner inquiries, providing education on available services and guiding the intake process.
- Collaborate with Clinical Managers, Client Services, Operations, and Marketing to ensure a seamless transition from referral through service commencement.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM records, referral activity, follow-up actions, and conversion outcomes.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze referral trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity, and provide recommendations to improve business development performance.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for leadership.
- Partner with Marketing to support community outreach initiatives, educational presentations, campaigns, and local growth strategies.
- Promote exceptional service by fostering trusted relationships with referral partners, clients, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all business development activities are conducted in accordance with organizational policies, privacy requirements, and quality standards.
- Identify and escalate service readiness or operational concerns that may impact the client experience or referral partner confidence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, healthcare sales, home care, seniors' services, or a related service-based industry.
- Proven success in consultative sales, business development, referral network growth, and achieving sales or revenue targets.
- Experience using CRM systems, managing sales pipelines, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals, community partners, and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and the ability to obtain required background checks.
- Experience in private-pay home care, knowledge of Atlantic Canadian referral networks, and bilingualism are considered assets.
