Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a Team Lead position for the Evening Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) at our warehouse located at 250 First Gulf Blvd., Brampton, ON.

Please note: The successful candidate must be available to complete training on the Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). Upon successful completion of the training period, the employee will transition to the regular Evening Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM).

Position Summary

Support the Operations Supervisor and Management in leading the day-to-day warehouse operations.
Ensure operational KPIs and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure customer expectations and service levels are met.
Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.
Support efficient warehouse space utilization and implement best warehousing practices.
Work closely with the Wave Planner and Dispatcher to resolve scheduling conflicts involving internal teams and transportation providers.
Ensure the operations team understands and meets customer requirements.
Collaborate with the Customer Service Representative (CSR) to ensure daily and urgent customer requests are completed on time.
Maintain effective and timely communication with Management, Supervisors, CSRs, customers, and team members.
Promote a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of combined warehouse and Lead Hand experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and walkies.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and industry best practices.
Experience working in a distribution center environment.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements.
Experience with inventory control.
Previous experience in the 3PL industry is preferred.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
