Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to process optimization and operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Spanish speaking a must
Forklift counter balance certified
Must have production experience and leading team of 10 to 15 people
Must be mechanically inclined to understand conveyor systems and compacting machines
Must have strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise production team members to meet daily production goals and quality standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely delivery of products.
Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools to plan, schedule, and monitor manufacturing activities.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Provide training and mentorship to team members on assembly processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes and recommending enhancements for operational excellence.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, inventory levels, and process adjustments.

Resumen del Puesto

Buscamos un Líder de Equipo de Producción (Production Team Lead) altamente motivado y con experiencia para supervisar las operaciones diarias de fabricación en nuestras instalaciones. El candidato ideal será responsable de dirigir un equipo, garantizar la eficiencia de la producción, mantener los estándares de calidad e implementar iniciativas de mejora continua. Este rol ofrece la oportunidad de contribuir a la optimización de procesos y a la excelencia operativa en un entorno de fabricación dinámico.

Requisitos

Dominio del idioma español (indispensable).
Certificación vigente para operar montacargas de contrabalanceo (Forklift counter balance).
Experiencia demostrable en producción y liderando equipos de 10 a 15 personas.
Inclinación y habilidad mecánica para comprender sistemas de transportadores (conveyors) y máquinas compactadoras.
Excelentes habilidades de comunicación.

Responsabilidades

Dirigir y supervisar a los miembros del equipo de producción para cumplir con los objetivos diarios y los estándares de calidad.
Coordinar con departamentos interfuncionales para asegurar operaciones fluidas en la cadena de suministro y la entrega oportuna de los productos.
Utilizar sistemas ERP (como SAP) y herramientas MRP para planificar, programar y monitorear las actividades de fabricación.
Implementar principios de manufactura esbelta (lean manufacturing) y mejoras en los procesos para aumentar la productividad y reducir los desperdicios.
Realizar inspecciones de control de calidad y garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad y las políticas de la empresa.
Brindar capacitación y mentoría a los miembros del equipo sobre procesos de ensamblaje, operación de equipos y procedimientos de seguridad.
Monitorear los indicadores clave de rendimiento (KPIs) relacionados con la eficiencia de fabricación, la calidad y la seguridad.
Apoyar las iniciativas de mejora continua analizando procesos y recomendando optimizaciones para alcanzar la excelencia operativa.
Mantener una documentación precisa de las actividades de producción, los niveles de inventario y los ajustes de los procesos.
