What You’ll Be Doing

Take this opportunity to join a great company as a Reliability Software Test Engineer. We are seeking a motivated and talented Test Engineer to work closely with R&D teams (optical, electronic, and software) to develop software for testing the reliability of new product platforms.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop software to automate testing in the lab
Support technicians in the reliability lab
Build and maintain test set for modules and circuit pack testing
Investigate and debug failures
Manage and report large amount of data

What We’re Looking For

Education:

BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:

2-5 years’ experience in developing software for instrument control, either in a research or manufacturing role.

Skills:

Experience with Automated Test System using VB.NET, C or C#
Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment with excellent communication skill;
Experience in any of the following is an asset:
Knowledge of optical components and systems;
Experience with SQL and web app development;
Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test and measurement equipment.

Salary Range: $71,450 - $102,100 CAD (flexible).

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. In line with our commitment to being a great place to work, Lumentum offers competitive total rewards which may include annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.
