Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling medical devices on a fast-paced production line and periodically working in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will follow detailed written instructions, use small hand tools, and collaborate closely with a team to complete production orders while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities

Work on a fast-paced assembly and production line to complete production orders as part of a team.

Rotate through approximately 13 production stations and learn all processes over an estimated 2–3 month training period.

Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.

Assemble products using small pieces and parts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every step.

Work both alongside team members and independently at assigned stations, maintaining consistent output.

Maintain line speed and productivity to prevent bottlenecks and ensure continuous product flow.

Periodically work in a cleanroom environment on a rotating schedule, including an initial full week as needed.

Stand for the entire shift while in the cleanroom to perform tasks such as labeling products, sealing packaging pouches, and completing related activities.

Use basic computer systems as required for production, labeling, or documentation tasks.

Perform inspection and quality checks on assembled products and packaging to ensure they meet standards.

Assist with packaging, labeling, and general production tasks, including mechanical assembly and packing as required.

Follow all cleanroom protocols, including restrictions on cosmetics and jewelry, and adhere strictly to hygiene and safety requirements.

Comply with all workplace rules, including no eating or drinking and no phone or video use on the production line.

Collaborate with a diverse team, contribute to a positive work culture, and demonstrate pride in building high-quality products.
Essential Skills

Valid visa with at least 2 years remaining from the date of hire.

At least 1 year of recent experience in a similar environment performing comparable assembly tasks, ideally with similar products.

Experience using small basic hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers for assembly work.

Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly with high attention to detail.

Ability to stand for the entire shift, including extended periods in the cleanroom.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (not repetitively) as needed during production and assembly tasks.

Basic computer skills, with the ability to complete simple tasks using production-related software or systems.

Strong English communication skills, both verbal and reading, sufficient to understand and follow written instructions and participate in team communication.

Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and willingness to adhere to strict cleanliness, hygiene, and dress code requirements.

Capacity to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced production setting.

High attention to detail and a strong focus on producing consistent, high-quality work.

Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime when required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Engineering background is considered an asset when aligned with hands-on production and assembly work.

Soldering experience, particularly in a production or electronics environment.

Printed circuit board (PCB) assembly experience in a highly regulated work environment.

Ability to read soldering instructions, match numbers to wires, and perform precise soldering tasks.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to multiple stations and processes.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to a focused and collaborative team.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift, Monday to Friday position, typically running from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is a clean, highly organized production environment with a diverse workforce and a strong sense of pride in the products being built. The production floor includes approximately 60 team members working together on multiple lines, including a newly added second line to meet increased work orders. The culture emphasizes hard work, focus, teamwork, and inclusion, embracing people from all backgrounds. You will periodically work in a controlled cleanroom environment, where you will be provided with a heavy jacket due to cooler conditions and will stand for the full shift performing labeling, packaging, and related tasks. Cleanroom protocols are strict: cosmetics such as makeup, mascara, eyeliner, hair products, aftershaves, perfumes, fingernail polish, and artificial nails are not permitted, and all jewelry, including earrings, rings, bracelets, and watches, must be removed. Because cleanroom assignments can occur at any time, these restrictions apply throughout the shift. Any skin conditions must be discussed in advance to ensure compliance with cleanroom standards. The dress code on the production floor is casual, while still maintaining a neat and professional appearance. Food and drinks are not allowed on the production line, and phones, videos, and pictures are strictly prohibited in production areas to protect safety and product integrity.
