Cornell Park Therapy, Children's Treatment Services, is a growing Family-centred Multidisciplinary service provider focusing on the delivery of Evidence-based interventions for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum and other Conditions, and their Families.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill one (1) in-clinic Part-time Contract ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Therapist position at our Markham, York Region clinic. In this role, the ABA Therapist will work under the supervision of our Registered Behaviour Analyst as well as directly and collaboratively with children, their parents and other staff (Speech-Language Therapist, Communicative Disorders Assistant, Admin staff). The position will lead to a full-time position.
We are specifically looking for a therapist with (1) strong soft skills and (2) strong technical ABA skills, working under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor within the following modalities: DTT, NET, PRT, mostly table-based programs. These are data-driven interventions and require the Therapist to consistently and accurately take down data as they teach. You should be familiar with the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK and ESDM curricula.
Our ideal candidate enjoys working with children and their families, can balance having fun (singing, playing, allowing themselves to be silly) with the highly technical teaching of ABA, enjoys working in a collegial environment, in addition to being fluent in Table-based ABA skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will Utilize Table-based ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) strategies and techniques (DTT, NET, PRT, etc.) to teach skill-building programming to children with ASD, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor/RBA.
- You will run table-based sessions in a technically effective manner.
- You will take down data every trial accurately and consistently.
- You will Interact with Learners in a manner that is reinforcing to Learners and that will motivate further learning.
- You will Document sessions using SOAP Notes.
- You will Clearly communicate in written and verbal formats.
- You will Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
- You will Ensure the teaching environment remains safe, clean, disinfected and organized.
- You will Demonstrate Professionalism with Clients, Colleagues, Families and all other people you encounter while at the Clinic.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2/+ Full Years of experience working exclusively with Table-based ABA teaching modalities (DTT, NET, PRT, individual, groups, etc.) and serving clients diagnosed with ASD and/or related conditions (e.g. ADHD, LD, etc.).
- Able to explain and demonstrate to another person how the ABC contingency works within an ABA teaching trial (DTT/NET).
- Able to demonstrate effective error-correction within an ABA teaching trial.
- Able to demonstrate effective Prompt Fading, Transfer-Trial and the Technical Ability to modulate a Learner's Motivation to facilitate Learning.
- Able to demonstrate Strong ability to teach children of various ages (6-14), strengths, abilities, talents and needs using ABA teaching modalities.
- Demonstrated Strong ability to get along and interact with others (soft skills).
- Demonstrated Ability to teach flexibly.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated Ability to clearly explain ABA concepts to others.
- Demonstrated Ability for ongoing learning.
- Excellent attendance record, punctuality, responsibility and reliability.
- Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A University Degree in a related field.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check (not older than 6 months).
- Three (3) references. At least one (1) Direct Supervisor reference.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is provided as necessary and/or required: Masks, HEPA Air Filtration, Ventilation, Hand Sanitizer, and work area disinfection.

Compensation is based upon experience, education, and verifiable professional credentials.
