Résumé du poste :

Nous recherchons actuellement un(e) Designer graphique textile créatif(ve) et minutieux(se) pour se joindre à notre équipe de design. Relevant de la Directrice du design, la personne sélectionnée participera au développement de collections d’imprimés pour nos marques privées et travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de design et de production afin d’assurer des designs textiles de qualité, tendance et conformes aux standards.

Responsabilités principales :

Participer au développement de la collection d’imprimés pour marques privées sous la supervision de la Directrice du design
Créer des imprimés textiles originaux, recolorier des motifs existants et développer des répétitions de motifs
Préparer, analyser et commenter les échantillons d’impression (strike-offs)
Créer des planches de présentation en collaboration avec l’équipe de design pour les réunions internes
Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes de design et de production afin de s’assurer que les imprimés respectent les exigences techniques et de production
Communiquer quotidiennement avec les fournisseurs à l’étranger pour tout ce qui concerne les imprimés

Compétences et qualifications requises :

Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en design de mode ou en design graphique
Maîtrise d’Adobe Illustrator et Photoshop
Expérience en mode féminine avec une bonne connaissance des tissus et de la construction des vêtements
Diplôme collégial en design graphique et/ou formation en arts visuels.
Capacité à réaliser des dessins techniques (flats) dans Illustrator est un atout
Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite
Personne organisée, autonome et très attentive aux détails
Capacité démontrée à gérer les priorités et à assurer un suivi rigoureux
Capacité à bien travailler en équipe
Esprit entrepreneurial et intérêt pour l’innovation et l’amélioration continue
Bilingue français et anglais (anglais fort requis pour communiquer avec des fournisseurs à l’extérieur du Québec)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Graphic Designer to join our design team. Reporting to the Design Director, the ideal candidate will contribute to the development of private label print collections and collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure high-quality, on-trend textile designs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of our private label print collection under the mentorship of the Design Director.
Create original textile prints, recolor existing artwork, and develop print repeats
Prepare, review, and comment on print strike-offs.
Develop presentation boards in collaboration with the design team for internal meetings.
Work cross-functionally with design and production teams to ensure prints meet technical and production standards.
Communicate daily with overseas suppliers on all print-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion or graphic design
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience in ladies’ fashion, with a strong understanding of fabrics and garment construction
College diploma in Graphic Design and/or a background in Fine Arts
Ability to create Illustrator flat sketches is considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and follow through with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
Bilingual in French and English (strong English required for communication with suppliers outside Quebec)
