Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Sandwich Artist/Cashier to join our team at Bello Italian Sandwich Co. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

We are looking for a long-term team member with previous restaurant experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and have a strong understanding of food preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and teamwork. If you have restaurant experience and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

This position offers an opportunity to further develop your skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food safety while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Duties:

Prepare and assemble fresh Italian sandwiches and menu items according to company standards and recipes.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
Operate the cash register (POS) and process customer transactions.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods.
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of workstations.
Restock supplies as needed and ensure the workspace is organized and sanitary.
Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality food service.
Assist with opening and closing duties.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous restaurant experience is required.
Looking for a long-term employee who is reliable, punctual, and committed to growing with our team.
Experience in food preparation, food handling, and the food service industry.
Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
