Intermediate Project Controller:
Procom is searching for an Intermediate Project Controller for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton or Calgary office.

Intermediate Project Controller - Job Description:
The Intermediate Project Controller will support Work Flow Technology Enhancements initiative, which aims to standardize service intake, workflow management, and vendor coordination across a multi-vendor environment. This role involves planning, execution, financial tracking, and governance of the project, along with CMDB librarian responsibilities to ensure data stewardship and documentation.

Intermediate Project Controller - Responsibilities:

Support project controls, including cost and schedule tracking, forecast updates, and status reporting
Maintain alignment between business case, project scope, and execution activities
Coordinate project reporting activities and prepare status updates and financial summaries
Track project expenditures and work with Finance on variance explanations
Support project governance, including meeting preparation and change requests
Maintain project documentation and ensure auditability
Coordinate inputs from domain leads, vendors, and stakeholders for accurate estimates and schedules
Monitor project milestones and deliverables to identify risks and dependencies
Support change control activities and document requested changes
Assist with project closeout activities and transition outputs into operational support
Complete CMDB librarian responsibilities, including data maintenance and documentation updates

Intermediate Project Controller - Mandatory Skills:

Post Secondary Education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field
3-5 years of experience in project controls or related roles
Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, and change control processes
Ability to work with cost data and financial reporting inputs
Strong analytical skills for reviewing project data and summarizing trends
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate Project Controller – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or AMS delivery environments
Experience in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
Experience in multi-stakeholder technology initiatives
Problem-solving and teamwork skills

Intermediate Project Controller – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position.

Intermediate Project Controller - Assignment Location:
Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office.
