Job description

MJR Capital Services Inc. is a leader in the debt recovery/ collection industry. MJR offers a fast-paced, accelerated work experience with plenty of opportunity for growth and development.

MJR is is currently seeking to fill the position of Entry-Level Legal Assistant. Selected individuals will be offered a negotiable pay, full training and a competitive benefits package.

Job Duties:

Drafting letters to law firms, clients and courts
Communicating with legal team and management
Drafting small claims court documents
Filing, photocopying emailing, faxing
Maintaining a tracking system for upcoming court dates
Candidate will learn the Small claims court process

Job Qualifications:

Paralegal diploma or legal assistant diploma or law clerk diploma
Knowledge of Small Claims Court process a plus
Good attendance
Positive attitude
Able to type 45wpm +
Advance knowledge and good working experience with Microsoft Office (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK)
Fluent English
