Nuclear refurbishment programs and large-scale energy infrastructure projects do not build themselves. Behind every major program milestone is a construction manager or supervisor who planned the site, coordinated the trades, managed the contractors, and kept the work moving safely. Ontario is about to enter one of its most active construction periods in the nuclear sector in decades — and the professionals who will lead that work need to be identified now.
Raise is building a pipeline of Construction Managers and Construction Supervisors for contract opportunities across nuclear, power generation, and energy infrastructure programs in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. This is not a live posting for a single role. Apply once, and we will reach out as specific opportunities become available.
About the Opportunity
The Pickering Refurbishment moves into execution in 2027 — a multi-billion dollar program involving major civil, mechanical, and electrical construction across multiple units simultaneously. The Darlington SMR is under active construction now. NB Power has ongoing transmission, substation, and generating station refurbishment programs running across New Brunswick. Each of these programs needs experienced construction managers and supervisors who can direct field operations, manage contractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and keep complex work on track in regulated environments.

Why Apply Now
Construction execution roles require site-specific qualifications and clearances that take time to process. Refurbishment execution ramps are not gradual — they move from planning to full deployment quickly. Being in our pipeline ahead of that ramp means we have already assessed your background, understood your availability, and can move when the program does.
Experience in nuclear, utilities, transmission and distribution, heavy industrial, or regulated construction environments is a strong asset. Candidates with existing nuclear security clearance or prior experience at OPG, Bruce Power, or NB Power sites are especially encouraged to apply.
Location: Ontario nuclear sites and New Brunswick — primarily onsite
Contract Length: Typically 12 to 36 months, with strong likelihood of extension
