Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing excellent service, product knowledge, and effective sales techniques. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in technology sales, merchandising, and customer engagement within a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and multilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection and inquiries
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the retail space is clean and inviting
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising strategies
Utilize communication skills to build rapport with customers and team members
Demonstrate proficiency in technology sales and basic math for transaction accuracy
Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries via phone or online channels
Manage time effectively to balance multiple responsibilities during busy hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, French) are a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
Ability to perform product demos and technical sales with confidence
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive attitude
Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts
Friendly phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or online
Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
