Heavy General Labourer (Rackers) – Night Shift

Dean Group's Manufacturing Division is currently recruiting General Labourers (Rackers) for one of our reputable manufacturing clients in Kitchener.

Please note: This is a physically demanding and highly repetitive position in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Position: General Labourer (Racker)
Location: Kitchener, ON
Schedule: Night Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 10:55 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.49/hour

Contract: Ongoing assignment with the possibility to be hired on
Start Date: ASAP

Vacancy: We are currently recruiting qualified candidates for an immediate opening.

Key Responsibilities

Rack and unrack parts throughout the production process.
Pack, sort, and prepare finished products for shipment according to quality standards.
Ensure parts move through the production line in the correct sequence.
Perform basic maintenance on racks, fixtures, and production tooling.
Prepare packaging materials, including foam and protective bags.
Secure and band finished skids for safe transport.
Complete production documentation, tracking forms, and labels accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labour experience is preferred.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a physically demanding role.
Able to lift 20–50 lbs on a regular basis.
Comfortable working in a warm, dusty manufacturing environment, particularly during the summer months.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Available to start immediately.
