About Infinite Road Marking

Join a growing team at Infinite Road Marking, a leader in pavement marking with long-term contracts and career growth opportunities. We specialize in all forms of pavement marking, including maintenance and new construction installations. We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to train as Pavement Marking Truck Driver Trainees.

Job Overview

This is a annual position with lots of hours during the on-season (March–November) through regular and overtime shifts. Infinite Road Marking provides structured on-the-job training with specialized equipment, offering a pathway to becoming a certified Pavement Marking Truck Operator.

Responsibilities

Train under an experienced driver to learn how to load, operate, and maintain a paint truck for applying road markings.
Drive and operate a long-line paint truck at speeds between 4-25 km/hr, depending on the material being applied.
Assist with accurate and efficient application of road markings in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Follow strict safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement and a clean driving record.
Excellent vehicle control and the ability to operate large trucks at low speeds.
Willingness to learn under supervision and assist with non-driving line painting tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication, organizational, and basic computer skills.
The majority of the work will be night shifts and 10-12 hours per shift during the on-season.

Work Schedule

On-season: Late March – November 30th
Typical shifts: Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Days off: Saturdays off; occasional Friday work required
Hours: Guaranteed and secure on-season hours

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $34.83 – $40.44 per hour
Overtime pay
BC Public Pension
Out-of-town per diem for food (accommodation paid by Infinite)
