Join One of Brant County's Growing Transportation Companies

Hutchinson Towing & Heavy Haul is looking for an experienced DZ Driver to join our team. This is not your typical towing job. Our drivers perform a combination of emergency towing, recovery, heavy equipment transport, machinery moves, and specialized hauling, giving you a wide variety of work every day.

If you're dependable, professional, and enjoy operating well-maintained equipment while taking pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence
Valid Ontario Tow Driver Certificate (Towing Licence) – Required. Ontario tow truck drivers must hold a Tow Driver Certificate under provincial regulations.
Clean driver's abstract
Experience operating tow trucks and securing vehicles/equipment
Knowledge of load securement and safe operating procedures
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation
Professional attitude with the ability to work independently

Job Duties

Emergency roadside towing and recovery
Accident recovery and winching operations
Transport heavy equipment, construction machinery, sea cans, forklifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other specialized loads
Load, unload, and properly secure equipment for transport
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Represent Hutchinson Towing & Heavy Haul professionally with every customer
