Job Overview
Express Parcel Est 2024 Ltd is seeking a reliable, positive, and professional Courier Driver. In this important role, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Your strong customer-service mindset, paired with solid driving skills, will help ensure every delivery is a positive experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, navigating diverse routes, and contributing to a smooth and dependable logistics operation. We are continually looking for part time and full time staff as we are growing.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 5 ton truck down to a courier van along designated routes to deliver packages promptly and accurately
Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods
Manage delivery documentation, including route sheets and delivery receipts, with attention to detail
Communicate professionally with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
Navigate city streets efficiently using route planning tools to optimize delivery times
Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing shipments when required

Requirements

Valid full class G driver’s license with a clean driving record
experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, transit vans and cargo vans
Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and time management
Ability to lift heavy packages safely, including heavy lifting and moving items using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Familiarity with warehouse operations and experience handling shipments in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow safety protocols diligently
Must have 3 work related references
