Full job description

We are hiring a team player to perform Wrapping and Shipping duties in Salmon Arm, BC!

Your job will be entirely at our headquarters in Salmon Arm, BC. We start you at $22.00 per hour on a full-time basis.

You get two weeks of vacation each year and can be taken on an earned basis. Any vacation requests must first be approved by your Supervisor.

If you do successfully complete the 90-day probation period, we welcome you to participate in the Extended Health Benefit Plan. This plan is 100% funded by Dinoflex so there is no cost to you.

You are entitled to five paid sick days per calendar year as per provincial regulations.

Your mission as Wrapper Shipper is to safely handle, palletize, and wrap finished goods for delivery, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. You report daily to the Logistics Coordinator and efficiently prepare and load daily orders with minimal supervision.

You will be assessed on these objectives:

· Safely handling finished goods, palletizing, and wrapping it correctly to load in trucks for delivery every time.

· Ensure pallets are labelled to our business partner request

· Accurately fill out packing list based on weight, measures, and quantity of material for each order and provide to Logistics Coordinator as soon as complete

· Transport finished products to staging area to be loaded onto trucks

· Load and unload trucks quickly and efficiently

· Maintain a clean and organized wrapping and shipping area

· Engage carrier companies with a positive attitude.

· Cross-train with other logistics tasks as assigned by your Logistics Coordinator
