Job Description
We are looking for a C++ Robotics Software Developer who wants to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We give people the opportunity to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere that values learning, growth, and hard work.
The ideal candidate will help with the development of C++ software that runs on edge devices mounted directly on our autonomous farming machinery. Our main focus is building high-performance C++ applications for cutting-edge perception tasks in farming, including road driving, object detection, crop detection, and more. If you are passionate about customer-focused software development, especially in C++ and robotics, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
- Software architecture design and rapid software prototyping
- Develop software in C/C++, ranging from hardware-interfacing code to control and communications modules
- Occasionally help the team with development work in other programming languages such as Python and TypeScript
- Write unit and integration tests
- Prepare documentation for new and existing code
- Complete two-week sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standup meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of professional C/C++ software development experience
- Experience using a modern build system such as CMake
- Strong foundation in computer science algorithms, data structures, and design patterns- Experience with databases, both NoSQL and SQL
- Familiarity with JavaScript and Python- Experience with web, security, and networking technologies
- Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous I/O
- Comfortable with quick changes in project requirements- A positive mindset and can-do attitude (This is very important to us!)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Experience working with maps and location data is a plus
Compensation
Depending on your experience we can negotiate a total compensation package including salary and stock/equity options.
