Job Overview

ASK LISTEN RETAIN (ALR) is a professional customer intelligence and customer experience research company supporting established national brands across Canada.

We are seeking reliable, professional, bilingual (English/French )and disciplined individuals to conduct structured customer satisfaction interviews by telephone.

This is not a sales position and does not involve cold calling.

This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable speaking both English & French professionally on the phone, following structured processes consistently, and working independently in a production-based environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured customer satisfaction interviews using a provided script
Ask open-ended questions and actively listen to customers
Accurately and objectively document customer feedback
Professionally represent national client brands
Complete assigned customer files within required operational timelines
Make up to 5 call attempts per assigned customer record before closing files
Work assigned call lists consistently during active calling periods

Schedule & Availability

Work remotely from home
Calls are conducted primarily during weekday business hours
Most calling activity occurs during the first half of each month, with lighter activity levels during later weeks
Candidates must be able to plan their schedules and maintain sufficient daytime availability during active calling periods
Reaching customers often requires persistence and multiple follow-up attempts, typically between 2–5 call attempts per customer record
Interviewers must stay organized and consistently manage callbacks, follow-ups, and completion timelines throughout active calling periods
Team members are expected to fully complete assigned customer files responsibly so projects remain on schedule and workload is not shifted to other team members
Approximately 15–25 hours of weekly availability during active periods is preferred
This is a part-time operational role requiring consistency, accountability, and reliability
This position is generally not suitable for individuals already working full-time daytime hours

Work Environment & Technical Requirements

Quiet, professional, and distraction-free home workspace required
Reliable computer and stable high-speed internet connection required
Consistent work location and stable technical setup strongly preferred
Frequent changes in work location are not suitable for this role

Ideal Candidate

Excellent spoken and written English & French
Clear, professional, and confident phone presence
Highly organized, dependable, and self-disciplined
Comfortable managing follow-up attempts and completing assigned customer files within deadlines
Able to work independently and maintain productivity during concentrated calling periods
Understands the importance of accountability and consistent project completion within a team environment
Customer service, communication, or phone experience is an asset
Comfort speaking English is considered a strong asset, as some customer interactions and internal communications may occasionally require bilingual communication

Compensation

$3.50 per completed interview
Interviews typically last approximately 2–3 minutes
Compensation is based on completed interviews only
Average monthly volume: approximately 100–200 completed interviews
During active periods, effective earnings may average approximately $25–35/hour depending on efficiency and completion rates
This role uses a production-based compensation model rather than traditional hourly pay

This Role May Not Be a Fit If:

You already work a full-time daytime job
Not bilingual in English and French
You are looking for fully open-ended scheduling flexibility
You are unavailable during normal weekday business hours
You prefer work without follow-up expectations or completion targets
You are unable to maintain a consistent home work environment

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
