We are currently seeking a

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Enter accounting data (vendor invoices, payments, deposits, etc.)
Organize, classify, and maintain accounting records
Prepare and issue customer invoices
Manage the budget and distribution of funds allocated to organizational partners
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
Prepare various reports and government filings related to GST, QST, RL‑1 summaries, CNESST, etc.
Perform bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements
Manage employee compensation: payroll, benefits, and group insurance
Participate in the implementation of internal control measures, including guidelines and business management mechanisms (e.g., inventory)
Assist in preparing reports required for revenue management, cost of goods sold, and cash‑flow movements (ensuring optimization of the cash cycle)
Collaborate with auditors during the annual financial audit to assess compliance

Desired Profile

College or university degree in accounting (CPA designation or in progress is an asset)
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Experience in a fast‑growing startup environment (asset)
Experience working with multiple currencies (asset)
Experience developing and implementing administrative and financial management mechanisms (asset)
Proficiency with computer tools
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and rigor
Positive attitude, autonomy, and professionalism
Commitment to learning and professional development

Employment Conditions

Permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week)
100% on‑site

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: CAD $58,290.00 – $79,646.00, depending on experience and qualifications

Comptable

Responsabilités principales

Effectuer la saisie de données comptables (factures fournisseurs, paiements, dépôts, etc.) ;
Classer, organiser et maintenir les dossiers comptables ;
Préparer et émettre les factures clients ;
Gérer le budget et la distribution des fonds alloués aux partenaires de l’organisation ;
Effectuer le suivi des comptes recevables et payables ;
Préparer les divers rapports ainsi que les remises gouvernementales se rapportant à la TPS, la TVQ, les sommaires Relevés 1, la CNESST, etc. ;
Effectuer les conciliations bancaires ;
Préparer les états financiers mensuels ;
Gérer la rémunération de l’ensemble des employés : paie, avantages sociaux et assurance collective des employés ;
Participer à la mise en place de mesures de contrôle interne, c’est-à-dire les lignes directrices, mécanismes de gestion de l'entreprise (ex. inventaire).
Participer à la préparation de rapports et comptes-rendus requis à la gestion des revenus, des coûts de revient et des mouvements de trésoreries (maintenir l'optimisation du cycle de trésorerie) ;
Collaborer, auprès des vérificateurs, à l’audit annuel des états financiers afin de mesurer le niveau de conformité.

Profil recherché

Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en comptabilité (être CPA ou être en voie de l’obtenir peut constituer un atout) ;
Expérience pertinente d’un minimum de 7 ans en tenue de livres ou en comptabilité ;
Expérience pertinente dans un environnement de type ‘’start up’’ en forte croissance (atout) ;
Expérience un contexte multidevises (atout) ;
Expérience dans l’élaboration et la mise en place de mécanismes de gestion administrative et financière (atout) ;
Maîtrise des outils informatiques ;
Rigueur, sens de l’organisation et souci du détail ;
Attitude positive, autonomie et professionnalisme ;
Orientation vers l’apprentissage et le perfectionnement professionnel.

· Poste permanent, temps plein, 40 heures par semaine

· 100 % présentiel
