Location: Nunavut (Fly‑In/Fly‑Out from Major Canadian City Hubs)
Rotation: 4–6 Weeks On / 10–14 Days Off with travel paid

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team in Nunavut. This role is essential to ensuring the performance, reliability, and energy efficiency of mechanical systems across a variety of project sites. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in isolated northern environments on extended rotations.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and quality standards
Perform heavy lifting, assembly, and construction‑related tasks
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

Qualifications

Proven mechanical experience in HVAC, plumbing, or related trades
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with mechanical system maintenance procedures
Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Relevant trade certifications (HVAC, plumbing, gas fitting) considered an asset
Physically capable of working in demanding and cold‑climate environments
Willingness to work fly‑in/fly‑out rotations in Arctic locations
Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship)

Work Conditions

Fly‑In/Fly‑Out from major Canadian city hubs
4–6 week rotations with 10–14 days off
Northern work environment with varying weather conditions
Camp accommodations provided
