Location: Delegated Campus

Reports To: Enrollment Manger

Primary Purpose

The purpose of the Educational Advisor is to promote and sell the programs of the College to potential students by identifying the appropriate programs that meet their individual career goals.

General Description

The Educational Advisor is responsible for responding to inquiries from prospective students, providing guidance to help individuals clarify their career goals, and recommending suitable programs to support those goals. The primary objective of this role is to promote the College’s programs effectively and to meet or exceed enrolment targets. The Advisor also motivates students to support their success in the program and handles related administrative and reporting responsibilities.

Specific Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries from prospective students, media, case managers, and others, promoting the College’s programs and services; participate in networking and industry events as required
Conduct admissions interviews using the College Admissions Presentation Structure to assess candidates’ backgrounds, interests, and career goals; recommend suitable programs accordingly
Complete student enrolment processes, including required documentation and guidance on payment options, in accordance with College Admissions Procedures
Maintain accurate records to track leads and follow up, offering motivation and support to prospective students as appropriate
Track and report weekly activities, including leads, appointments, interviews, and enrolments
Provide ongoing coaching and encouragement to support student success throughout the program
Attend regular marketing meetings and contribute to the establishment and achievement of monthly targets
Follow up on potential and confirmed cancellations to support retention
Assist in the training and onboarding of new Educational Advisors
Perform other duties as assigned to support the College’s mission and goals

Position Requirements

Competencies:

To be successful in the Educational Advisor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Strong oral communication skills
Proven sales and marketing abilities grounded in integrity and professionalism
Thorough understanding of the College’s programs and services
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Basic math and accounting skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Sound judgment with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Consistently demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance, with a strong commitment to quality service

Education and Experience:

Post-secondary education with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of sales experience in a results-driven, service-oriented, and fast-paced career training environment

Other Requirements:

Willingness and ability to work beyond regular hours as needed
Ability to manage stress and perform well in high-pressure situations
Flexible and available to travel between campuses as required
