Full job description

To serve as a key member of the Events team, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a seamless guest experience in a high-end environment. They play a critical role in enhancing the service journey and creating lasting impressions for guests.

Ideal Candidate

Has a passion for hospitality and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. They possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to service excellence. Adaptable and proactive, they collaborate well with team members and handle tasks with a positive attitude and grace. Their ability to create a welcoming atmosphere is essential to elevating the guest experience.

Key Accountabilities:

Prepare rooms for an event by polishing glassware and cutlery, placing tables and chairs, placing tablecloths, and setting tables according to standards
Lift and carry furniture, supplies, floral arrangements, glassware, etc.
Report all broken or damaged property or equipment to a manager promptly
Care for all equipment and supplies by handling them appropriately and replacing them safely after use
Assist in setting and stocking bars, food stations, and beverage stations as required
Protect the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcoholic beverage control policies
Earnestly attempt to accommodate any guest request and accurately communicate them to the Event Manager or Event Support Supervisor
Demonstrate a sense of urgency while remaining poised during peak periods and seek out additional tasks during slower periods
Communicate core values by demonstrating genuine and thoughtful hospitality in day-to-day duties
Maintain positive relationships within the team and with others, working together towards the common goal of success across the property
