About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Site Professional to join our growing team in Alberta. This role is ideal for an intermediate to senior-level professional with a strong background in contaminated sites, hydrogeology, or environmental engineering/science, and a passion for technical excellence and mentorship.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental assessments and remediation projects while supporting team development and contributing to a collaborative work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) or contaminated sites.
- Interpret hydrogeological and environmental data to support site characterization and risk assessment
- Provide senior technical review of reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Support and mentor junior and intermediate staff
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and reporting

Your application should show us:
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
- Professional designation: P.Eng., P.Geo., or P.Ag., or eligibility for immediate registration
- Strong working knowledge of Alberta regulatory frameworks, including Tier I and Tier II guidelines
- Interest or experience in business development with established client relationships in industry.
- Strong leadership capabilities with ability and desire to mentor junior professionals
- Proven senior review capability with a high level of attention to detail
Assets:
- Experience with MODFLOW and/or contaminant fate and transport modelling
- Background in remediation and complex site management
- Experience with physical hydrogeology (e.g., aquifer testing)
- Interest or experience in business development and client relationship management
